Breaking Dawn The Beginning Of The End

November 23rd, 2011 by ruth in Breaking dawn

What can I say about Breaking Dawn that hasn’t already been said…… big sigh.

I loved it, I loved the music, I loved the scenery, I loved the actors and I loved the dress, the only thing I disliked and heard similar comments inside the cinema were the Denali clan’s eyes.

Ummm maybe a bit too bright!!!!!! I am surprised they haven’t toned them down just a little bit, the Cullen’s eyes looked less abnormal. Still I am not complaining up until now it has been terrible wigs that looked as if they were bird nests sat on top of their heads. Remember Jaspers hair in Twilight? He looked as if had been electrocuted poor fellow.

Bella was beautiful, Jacob was yummy and Edward, ah, well Edward was just what he has always been to all those Twilight lovers all over the world, EAGCWF meaning, “Everything a girl could wish for.”

I am really stuck to say which is my favourite Twilight film, it has always been the 1st one, if anyone created the right feeling to the movies it was Catherine Hardwicke, remember the Cullen’s walking into the school dining room, that’s a classic part of the Twilight saga, but I have to admit that Bill Condon has done us proud. If the final part is anything compared to BD1 then I think that we can all sit back and be very, very proud of what this director has created.

The two things that really stand out was Kristen Stewart and the wonderful job she did at portraying Bella, Bella in love, Bella about to become a married women, a pregnant Bella and a dying Bella. The second thing was the makeup and CGI that they used to create such a sick and thin looking Bella, I realise that with the right technology anything is possible, but it needs someone that knows how to create the right look to bring this to life and make you believe that Bella is really thin and sick and they did an excellent job of making us believe it.

I know they had to cut scenes out  and for me the one I really missed was a Rosalie and Jacob scene, where Rosalie gets hold of a dish and shapes it into a doggy bowl and writes Fido on it, fingers crossed that it is on the DVD extra scenes.
So unless you go back time and time again to see BD 1 in the movies, we now have to wait until March to be able to get hold of the DVD and one whole year for BD part 2, the countdown has begun.

The one scene I would like to have seen in the movie was when Bella and Edward told Charlie they were getting married.

The one line I missed? “You are killing my buzz, Edward.”

Other than that, the movie was oh so wonderful!
