Total Eclipse of the Heart: Chapter 6
Hi and Welcome to Mac’s Twi-Attack.
So, I was thinking I better start hammering out these chapters or I might run out of time. Time, well sometimes I wish I was a Cullen because then I would have all the time in the world. Oh, did I ever mention that I really am a Cullen. My Great Grandmother was Catherine Cullen. HAH! Isn’t that funny. She was Irish and German though, obviously her daddy was a Cullen. I wonder how Carlisle got an Irish name in England. I might have to do a little research, maybe it is and English name. Now I’m inspired to check it out. The history of the name Cullen.
Cullen Name Meaning and History
- Irish: Anglicized form of Gaelic Ó Coileáin ‘descendant of Coileán’, a byname meaning ‘puppy’ or ‘young dog’.
- Irish: Anglicized form of Gaelic Ó Cuilinn ‘descendant of Cuileann’, a byname meaning ‘holly’.
- Scottish: habitational name from Cullen in Banff, so named from Gaelic cùilen, a diminutive of còil, cùil ‘nook’, ‘recess’.
- English: habitational name from the Rhineland city of Cologne (Old French form of Middle High German Köln, named with Latin colonia ‘colony’).
- English: variant of Cooling.
Now that I was curious and looked it up I really had to laugh. It is a common last name. I even found that there are Cullens in each state beside Nevada. That is so interesting that there are no listings for Cullen’s in Nevada. I am sure there has to be at least one.. HAHAHAHAHA! Well we know that no Vampire Cullens would live there since it’s always sunny…….. But they could be sparkly in Vegas and just fit in. The other thing that made me laugh is I stated that my Great Gran was both Irish and German, and then come to find out that Cullen is both. But my Great Great Gran Daddy was Definitely Irish, I think! LOL.
Look for Twilight on Oprah May 13th. She is really cashing in on this too! Geeze Louise, does everyone have to cash in on this. I promise you I am not!
There is also some other news that Muse will once again be on the Eclipse Soundtrack. That is way cool, at least one song will be good.. LOL I love Muse and I was looking at their summer tour and they won’t be in the US anytime soon. SUCKY! I’d like to take my sisters to see them.
Total Eclipse of the Heart: Chapter 6 – Switzerland
This is how I read the fist page. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, gasp, gulp for air and then BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Bella is so ridiculous, lost in her own thoughts not even expecting Edward to be right behind her.
Bella is driving home, not really paying attention, thinking about Jacob and then she sees Edward in his Volvo inches behind her. You can literally feel her guilt and then the anger. Like she can’t make choices for herself. Then she chooses to ignore him.
She doesn’t stop, she goes strait to Angela’s house to help her with her graduation announcements. As they are filling them out, Angela senses that something is bothering Bella. They talk, cryptically but they still talk. Nice to have a normal friend. Angela tells Bella it’s normal for Edward to be jealous. Especially since she’s seen the way
Jacob looks at BellaWhen they finish Bella heads home, she tells Charlie she been to La Push and Angela’s and then heads up to her room. “To face the Music”. Edward is there, and he is not happy. This is an argumentative day for her. She has to defend Edward and the Cullen’sto Jacob and now she is defending the Jacob and the wolf pack to Edward. Edward tells her in no certain terms will she go back, and Bella doesn’t give in this time. She says she is Switzerland, if the Cullens and Wolves don’t get along that is fine, she is neutral, and if Angela turns out to be a witch, hahahahahaha, wouldn’t that be funny. Well they are truly at an impasse here. Bella will see Jacob and Edward will do anything he can to stop her.
PS: Got my new Sookie book, almost done with it already, not sure if I like it so far. I’ll have to finish because it’s builing slow then let you know.
Thanks for reading! Have a great day!

Goog grief Mac, If you carry on with the Cullens surname research I will have to take you on as my assistant, did you not know I’m a genealogist… Hmmm thats given me an idea! maybe I ought to start on Vampire genealogy LOL.
I also think it’s great that Muse have finally come to an agreement with the Holy of Holies aka Summit and we will be able to enjoy yet another of their fantastic musical pieces. Last weekend my grand daughter had a sincronized swimming exabition and guess what the music was… Yep Supermassive Black Hole.
Keep blogging or we are all going to cool off before November 2011. They really have F that up haven’t they:(

Well, I really would like to learn about all my ancestors but I don’t want to pay for it. LOL I’m cheap.
I had to laugh though because of the last name. I didn’t really think about it until the other day because we were talking about family and last names and Ireland/Scotland, then it dawned on me.
Muse really does rock. I mean I love their music to drive to and work out. The time line is tooooooo long.
Trying to be too much like Harry Potter.
