Hot or Not (you vote)!
Who is the Hottest Vampire?
Reading Annie’s post got me thinking. Who really played the hottest Vampire? Was it Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Gerard Butler, Rob, Cam, Kellan, Jackson, James Masters or David Bornea? Could it be Peter as Carlisle, or one of the Louisiana Vamps from True Blood or the new CW show Vampire Diaries? Who do you think. I will post a picture of each and I want your opinion. Truly not that any of this list matters once Dark Shadows comes out (that is my future vote), Johnny Depp I’m sure will blow them all away. He has the uncanny ability to turn into the character. He makes you believe he is who he is portraying. I have not been disappointed with any of his performances. You be the judge. Click the link below to see more!
Now this is not all about looks. It is about character portrayal, movie or show dimension, and above all else TALENT. As in which Vampire hottie below is the most lethal, deadly, and sexy Vampire? Weigh the odds! Now I know there are a lot more vampire movies and shows out there, but these were my choice. What is yours?

So who is it for you? Right now my vote has to be Stephen Moyer and Peter. I love Robert / Edward but that is all superficial love. Stephen Moyer portrays Bill Compton wonderfully and Peter is just perfect for the part of Carlisle. All in all it’s not fair to choose the Vampire Diaries hotties because we haven’t seen the show, but I have watched all the trailers on you tube. Does that count? I think so. Some of them are really long.
And if your reading here is a treat for you, the new moon trailer for real (click the link below)! Not the recorded one from Band Slam. Also Stephenie updated her site. She recommends a book called Hunger Games. I do too! I read it a few months back and was so sick when it ended because the next book isn’t due out until September. I am holding on by the skin of my teeth for it to come out. Very good book! Any of you have some other reading material that is good? Please let me know. I’m in the process of reading Henry the 8th a novel. But I want something for entertainment too.

I am sure loving me some True Blood too! I wish my books would get here. I opted for the box set when the 8th book comes out. They won’t be here til October.

After long deliberation I have chosen…drumroll please…Alexander Skarsgard…I know I know it is a surprise I’m a huge Robert Pattinson fan but Alexander is just mmmhhmmm…lol but once Johnny Depp joins the ranks there will be no comparison

Alexander Scarsgard is hands down the best vampire. The swedes adore him.
Oh yeah and there is no Peter in True Blood that I know of.
To date with the exception of the next October publication, there are 9 Southern Vampire/ Sookie Stackhouse books. The one out in October is an anthology I think.
I noticed you added Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise to your list. I did not because the film was out 1994 and so didn’t fit in with my 21st Century/modern day list and they were old style in my opinion, way to much make up and wrong clothes for the era at the end. I know I’m a pain with the details.
Johnny Depp looks like an ancient elven prince, totally beautiful. Can’t wait to see him as a vampire.

I corrected it! I love Brad in Interview. I also was picturing the Volturi more pasty like they were, but I guess because that was my version of the vampire..
Well I meant Peter (aka Carlisle), in my mind that was how I read it back to myself. I guess it was unclear to everyone else! Sorry

Alex, Alex, Alex. Don’t get me wrong Bill/Stephen is kind of hot and was fairly ok at first, but when Eric/Alex showed up he overshadowed everyone else so completely that there is just no contest. Beside Eric, Bill just looks old, tired, and bored. Alex is nothing short of remarkable. I’m no knocking Bill/Stephen it is just that Eric/Alex is just so much more. As for Johnny Depp, yes he is a great actor, but we have seen so much of his work and so little of Alexander Skarsgard’s it is hard to compare. When you see Generation Kill it would be hard to believe there is any actor anywhere in the world better than Alex.

Until Johnny Depp plays a Vamp we can’t really say a thing, but he gives his all to every character he portrays and I am excited to see Dark Shadows. Thanks for the comment! Loved it. Love to know other peoples thoughts.
Well I will def have to watch Generation Kill to see how great Alex is. I know he’s hot and he does a wonderful job as Eric, but I am just into the Southern Charm. The REAL Southern Charm. I love it when they are for real. I knew a few men like that. Their mamas taught them well! Eric just has it from the beginning anyway. You know that whole appeal, and they def picked the right actor to portray him.

I truly love Brad Pitt. He is the most gorgeous actor period. No matter what bad things people write about him he has a great heart. My favorite movie is Troy.
